What I do at Customized Communications:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997, which I used for many years in advertising sales for radio and television. When I moved over to Customized Communications, I never imagined how much I would enjoy working in the medical publishing field! The relationships that I have developed with our family here at CCI, and also our customers, are very rewarding to me.
In addition to working with existing clients, I also research and develop new business for CCI. I love telling healthcare professionals about our beautiful patient education materials. Recently, I have focused my marketing efforts on our newest line of products, online education. This is an exciting new area and I really enjoy letting people know about the innovative products that we have developed for the new generation of expectant parents. I believe that my background in sales and marketing provides me with experience that assists our clients in finding solutions for their patient education needs.
What I do for fun:
I am a book worm, so I do a lot of reading. My husband and I also enjoy caring for our pets on our little suburban farm, including dogs, cats and horses. We recently adopted a Mustang filly and it has been fun, and challenging, to train her. All of our animals are rescues, and we dedicate much of our free time to them.
